Welcome to the IOA Knowledge Base Community and thank you for taking the time to read the Community Code of Conduct.  The purpose of our Community Code of Conduct is to ensure that all participants in the Community have the best possible experience. Our members are here to help each other learn, grow and practice their IOA and interconnection-related knowledge.

To foster a vibrant, thriving, and friendly Community, we request that members abide by the following guidelines when participating:

    Please do

    • Be polite and courteous.
    • Be patient and welcoming to new members.
    • Give praise when due.
    • Respond in a timely manner when questions are asked of you directly.
    • Avoid irony and sarcasm as it can be difficult to discern via text communications.
    • Stay on topic. We remind everyone that this site is for technology discussions and ask that you only post questions that relate to topics.
    • Be respectful of other opinions, approaches and cultures. Do not threaten, harass, abuse or embarrass other users.

    Please don't

    • Do not intentionally post any misleading or erroneous information.
    • Do not post content that infringes on another person's trademark, copyright, or material protected by intellectual property laws.
    • Do not share confidential content or others’ personal identification information including email, full name, address or phone number.
    • Do not share or post any personal data you do not want made available to others in the Community.
    • No offensive or profane language.
    • No Spamming. Ever. Please do not start threads in our community only to promote or sell your products or services. Example: repeated posts endorsing a product or service may be removed as spam. Spammy accounts will be quickly banned.

IOA Knowledge Base Community manager reserves the right, but assumes no obligation, to remove or move offending posts and take actions we believe to be appropriate, up to and including terminating your account.
